Proposed changes include clearer pricing on supplier websites, fairer security deposit rules, and the removal of notice requirements when switching suppliers under deemed contracts. These measures aim to create a more transparent, supportive energy market at a time when rising costs continue to bite. A draft Code of Practice on bill payments and customer support signposting is also on the horizon, signalling further shifts towards better treatment of non-domestic consumers.
