
Ireland sees first consultancy tackling subscription churn
Subscription businesses in Ireland are losing up to half their customers each year, yet no consultancy has focused solely on solving this problem – until now. Cheryl Walsh, former Head of Customer Success at Expensify, has launched Loyalty, Ireland’s first consultancy dedicated to reducing churn and driving retention growth.
With customer acquisition costs soaring 75% since 2019, Walsh argues retention is the most underused growth strategy. Loyalty blends behavioural psychology with operational expertise to design systems that prevent churn before it happens, rather than just predicting it. Its services range from churn audits to fractional customer success leadership.
The consultancy has already secured clients pre-launch and partnered with SaaStock Dublin. Based in Cork but serving clients globally, Loyalty targets subscription businesses earning €1–10M in ARR, aiming to turn churn from a silent profit drain into sustainable growth.
