Ireland’s largest hospitality operator, Eclective Hospitality Group, has deployed cloud-based restaurant technology platform Toast across 25 of its venues, marking a significant milestone for both companies as Toast celebrates three years in the Irish market. The rollout spans well-known brands including Angelina’s, Elephant and Castle, and Wowburger.

The partnership integrates all aspects of Eclective’s operations, from kitchen management to customer engagement, aiming to improve operational efficiency, flexibility, and the overall guest experience. COO Dave Mongan highlighted that, with 850 employees across 27 venues, the group required a scalable technology partner capable of meeting the unique demands of the Irish restaurant market. “Toast eliminates the complexity of managing multiple systems across our portfolio and gives us tools to power service and focus on creating exceptional guest experiences,” he said.

Executive Chef Daniel Hanigan emphasised the impact behind the scenes. By leveraging Toast’s Kitchen Display Systems, the kitchen teams will operate more efficiently, allowing staff to dedicate more attention to food quality and service excellence.

For Toast, the deal represents a growing footprint in Ireland’s hospitality sector. Ana Munoz, GM of International at Toast, said the partnership with a “forward-looking organisation like Eclective” reflects the platform’s expanding presence in the local market and its ability to support large-scale operators.

Toast already serves notable Irish clients such as Bewley’s, Kicky’s, and OAKBERRY, and maintains local teams in customer support, R&D, and marketing. The company has been recognised as a Certified Great Place to Work in Ireland.

The deployment positions Eclective to scale operations efficiently, enhance the guest experience, and support the group’s next phase of growth.
