AIB puts accessibility at the heart of strategy with lived experience-led approach

AIB has embedded accessibility into its operations by directly involving disabled customers and partnering with inclusion consultancy Tilting the Lens. Informed by lived experience and research, the bank has enhanced digital platforms, products, and staff training in line with the European Accessibility Act.

Key developments include voice-guided ATM services, accessible UX design, staff-wide inclusion training, and the Autism Friendly Accreditation of all 170 branches through its partnership with AsIAm. The initiative positions AIB as a leader in inclusive banking and customer-centric transformation.
