UAE-founded spend management platform Qashio has announced the establishment of its European Headquarters in Dublin, with plans to create 50 jobs across sales, marketing, product, software engineering and operations over the next three years, according to IDA Ireland.

The Dublin office marks the fifth international location Qashio has opened within the past 12 months, reflecting an accelerated global expansion strategy. The company provides spend management and financial technology solutions for businesses operating across borders, and views Dublin as its primary launchpad for European growth.

As part of the expansion, Qashio is developing Qashio Labs in Dublin, an R&D-focused function supporting ongoing platform and product innovation for its European customer base.

Kevin Gallagher, appointed to lead the European headquarters in early 2026, brings more than 15 years of experience scaling international technology businesses, having previously expanded Workday's commercial presence in Ireland and grown Trulioo's new business revenue in Europe by over 400%.

Gallagher said: "Our expansion into Ireland marks a pivotal moment for Qashio. We chose Ireland for its exceptional tech talent and world-class ecosystem, allowing us to build a local presence rooted in security and long-term trust."

He added: "With the economic landscape remaining unpredictable, businesses in Ireland need reliable tools for resilience and financial control. We are embedding ourselves here to provide the on-the-ground support and value that the market currently lacks."

The announcement was celebrated at Investopia in the presence of senior representatives from both Ireland and the UAE, reflecting bilateral trade relations valued at nearly €8 billion.
