TEKenable has doubled its customer base and the average size of its project deliveries since acquiring Salesforce consultancy Tether in 2023, with a particular focus on the enterprise space. The Irish AI and business transformation company is now bringing Tether fully under the TEKenable brand as it expands its Salesforce business across Ireland and the UK.
TEKenable acquired Tether to bolster its existing Salesforce capabilities. The integration has given the Tether team access to the knowledge and resources of the wider TEKenable business, enabling it to pursue larger and more complex business transformation projects.
The structural driver is organisations seeking to consolidate technology suppliers. TEKenable sees growth in both the private and public sectors as clients combine CRM, service management, finance, field service, integration, data, AI and vertical-specific capabilities within wider digital transformation projects.
The company sees opportunities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, AI and Field Service, as organisations look to connect customer journeys, sales, service, data and operations in one environment. That demand spans financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, utilities, telecommunications and renewable energy.
“Organisations want to bring sales, customer service, finance, vertical solutions, digital engagement, data, AI and operational processes together, rather than address each area in isolation,” said Nick Connors, CEO of TEKenable. “Our combined Salesforce and wider transformation expertise means we can help customers modernise complex processes, improve customer and employee experiences, and scale with greater confidence.”
Connors said organisations increasingly look for partners that can support more complex transformation programmes rather than individual technology projects. TEKenable will invest in its people, including additional team members, as the practice expands.
TEKenable is a Dublin-based technology company founded in 2002 by Connors and Peter Rose, which acquired Tether in June 2023. Its company filings show turnover of €18.13 million in 2024 and a pre-tax profit of €1.05 million, close to double its 2023 figure.
For the sector, the integration reflects Salesforce partners combining consultancy and wider transformation capability so clients can connect customer journeys across sales, service and data.
