Sherweb has established its European headquarters in Dublin, confirming that Irish IT company MicroWarehouse now operates under the Sherweb name following its acquisition by the Canadian cloud distributor nearly two years ago. To support the new growth, Sherweb has announced more than a dozen new roles spanning business development, partner success, technical support, AI and cybersecurity.

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Quebec, Sherweb is a cloud distributor and technology service provider that equips managed service providers with cloud licences, digital services and on-the-ground IT solutions through its global marketplace. It acquired MicroWarehouse, a Dublin-based IT distributor, in December 2024, and the combined business has since delivered double-digit growth, reflecting strong demand from MSPs across the region.

The structural driver behind the Dublin headquarters is consolidating a fragmented MSP supply chain, giving customers who worked with MicroWarehouse continued access to a dedicated local team and familiar points of contact, alongside expanded access to Sherweb's global marketplace and partner ecosystem.

"Bringing MicroWarehouse fully into Sherweb gives us a strong foundation for our next stage of growth in Ireland, the UK and Europe," said Matthew Cassar, co-founder and co-CEO of Sherweb. "By combining that legacy with Sherweb's global scale, marketplace and expertise, we're creating new opportunities for MSPs while maintaining the local knowledge and support they value."

"Ireland and the UK are key markets for Sherweb, and we're committed to giving our partners the guidance and hands-on support they value, now enhanced by Sherweb's broader capabilities," said Rob Driver, managing director for cloud at Sherweb. "This includes expanding their AI capabilities through our Customer Zero approach, where we're applying AI across our own business, measuring outcomes and sharing those learnings with MSPs."

Alongside its presence in Canada, the US and Ireland, Sherweb expanded into the UK in March, shortly after securing a $125 million (approximately €105 million) minority equity investment from Investissement Québec to accelerate its international expansion.

For the sector, Sherweb's Dublin headquarters reflects growing consolidation among cloud distributors serving MSPs, as global marketplace platforms acquire local partners to combine regional trust with broader scale and AI capability.
