UK-based customer engagement and commerce media platform Reward is creating 61 new jobs at its Belfast operation as the company accelerates international expansion and invests in platform development, data analytics and AI capability, according to Invest NI.

Reward's platform combines technology, data insights and digital marketing services for many of the UK's leading banks and retailers, with a growing presence across Europe and the Middle East. Its Belfast operation, established in 2016, plays a central role in product development, engineering and business operations across the company's international markets, serving customers across multiple geographies from its Northern Ireland base.

The new roles include software engineers, data engineers, DevOps specialists and business operations professionals, alongside five graduate positions. Once in place, the positions are expected to generate more than £3.3 million (€3.9 million) in annual salaries, underlining the scale of Reward's commitment to building long-term capability in Belfast.

Killian O'Rawe, Chief Technology Officer and Belfast Site Lead at Reward, said: "Our growth plans are centred on continued innovation, international expansion and building an increasingly efficient and scalable business, and Belfast plays a critical role in delivering that strategy."

O'Rawe added: "The team here is central to how we enhance our platform, invest in data and analytics, and develop new capabilities for our financial services partners. We are also increasing the use of AI and automation to improve productivity and performance across the business."

Sean McDaid, Finance Director at Reward, said the company has "consistently been impressed by the depth of expertise available across Northern Ireland," describing Belfast as providing "an excellent platform for continued growth" given its fintech community, leading universities and positive business environment.

The expansion reflects Reward's broader strategy to scale its customer engagement platform across financial services and retail markets, using Belfast as a hub for technology development, AI-driven innovation and international service delivery to its growing base of banking and retail partners.
