Rasbot, a new humanoid robotics brand under the EVAD Technology Group, has launched in Ireland with a Robotics as a Service (RaaS) offering centred on Adam, the AGIBOT X2 Ultra humanoid robot, targeting businesses, exhibitions, events and corporate environments seeking differentiated customer engagement.
Rasbot is a new brand within the EVAD Technology Group, an Irish technology services group headquartered in Dublin; EVAD's revenue and EBITDA are not publicly disclosed. The AGIBOT X2 Ultra, manufactured by Shanghai-based AGIBOT (Zhiyuan Robotics), is a half-size humanoid robot standing 1.31 metres tall with navigation, obstacle avoidance and natural language interaction capabilities, priced at approximately €160,000 in European full configuration. AGIBOT held approximately 39% of the global humanoid robot supply market in early 2026 and had shipped 15,000 units globally by June 2026.
The structural driver for the CX sector is attention scarcity. At conferences, exhibitions and brand events where every stand is competing for the same dwell time, a humanoid robot that can walk, talk, recognise its surroundings and respond to visitors in natural language generates a fundamentally different engagement dynamic than conventional display materials or digital screens.
Rasbot's RaaS model means a brand or event organiser can deploy Adam without the capital commitment of an outright purchase, the operational overhead of maintenance, or the technical expertise to manage the platform — removing the three primary barriers that have kept humanoid robotics out of mainstream experiential marketing budgets.
The model is particularly relevant for the Irish market's concentration of multinational European headquarters, where brand experience teams regularly manage product launches, client showcases and innovation events requiring differentiation at scale. A humanoid robot at a Dublin tech company's client event or a Cork pharma group's innovation showcase generates the kind of shareable content and memorable interaction that traditional experiential formats cannot replicate.
For the sector, the Rasbot launch signals that humanoid robotics has crossed the accessibility threshold for inclusion in mainstream CX and experiential marketing planning, and Irish brand and event agencies should evaluate it alongside existing immersive technology options rather than treating it as a novelty category.
