Irish fundraising and ticketing platform Eventmaster has acquired digital fundraising provider iDonate, creating an integrated customer experience solution for charities, community groups, and event organisers according to a Business Eye report.

The acquisition combines Eventmaster's event management, ticketing, and membership capabilities with iDonate's fundraising tools under a single platform. The merger enables organisations to manage participation, fundraising, and engagement within one ecosystem, streamlining operational workflows and supporter interactions.

iDonate CEO Alan Coyne will continue with the combined business, leading fundraising operations alongside Eventmaster founder and CEO John Cleary. The integration aims to deliver enhanced service to existing customers while extending ticketing and membership products to iDonate's customer base across domestic and international markets.

Eventmaster secured growth capital funding from BGF in 2024, with follow-on investment supporting the iDonate acquisition. The transaction strengthens Eventmaster's fundraising proposition and expands the group's ability to serve customers across multiple use cases, from ticket sales and event registrations to memberships and digital fundraising campaigns.

John Cleary emphasised that the acquisition reinforces Eventmaster's position as industry leader across event participation, ticketing, and fundraising in Ireland, with plans to deliver enhanced service across markets.

Alan Coyne stated that joining Eventmaster allows iDonate to accelerate its vision and expand offerings to charities and fundraisers, enabling faster innovation, international scaling, and continued advancement of digital fundraising standards.

The combined business will focus on integrated customer experience, elevated fundraising capabilities blending iDonate's brand strength with Eventmaster's infrastructure, and an enhanced product roadmap improving usability, reporting, and supporter engagement.
