Durst has inaugurated its Customer Experience Center in Gwangju City, South Korea, providing labels, packaging, and wide-format printers across the Asia-Pacific region a dedicated site to view its systems in action. Hosted by Korean partner SEROM CO, the facility allows customers to experience live demonstrations of Durst’s Tau RSCi, Durst-Omet KJet, and P5 350 HS printing systems.

The Tau RSCi digital inkjet label press is highlighted for its efficiency and productivity in short to medium-run label printing, offering customers practical insight into optimising operations and maximising output. The hybrid Durst-Omet KJet system, also installed at the center, combines flexographic and inkjet technologies in a single line, representing the collaboration between Durst and Omet to deliver flexible, high-performance solutions for label converters.

Matt Ashman, Managing Director of Durst Oceania, emphasised that the KJet system exemplifies the integration of innovation and operational efficiency, exclusively supplied and serviced by Durst Oceania. The Customer Experience Center offers an interactive platform for clients to assess system capabilities, explore workflow optimisation, and gain hands-on knowledge of Durst’s latest technologies.

By establishing a permanent demonstration site in Asia, Durst strengthens its regional presence and underscores its commitment to supporting customers with live, practical insights into the performance, versatility, and productivity of its printing solutions. The center aims to facilitate decision-making for label and packaging businesses, helping them adopt technology that aligns with efficiency, quality, and scalability goals.
