Digitas UK has appointed Andy Sandoz as chief creative officer, joining in January 2027 from Deloitte Digital, where he was global chief creative officer. The appointment strengthens the agency’s proposition as a connected experience agency with creativity embedded across the full customer journey.

Sandoz will set the agency’s creative vision and standards across customer experiences, communications, digital products, content and emerging channels. He will report to CEO Anne Stagg and lead a multidisciplinary team spanning creative, experience design, content, visual design and creative technology.

The structural driver is creativity moving upstream, to where customer experience, brand, technology and business come together. Sandoz will also act as a senior creative and experience partner to clients, helping them connect brand, experience, CRM, data and technology to drive growth.

“Andy understands that creativity has to shape every interaction a customer has with a brand, and he has a rare ability to connect creativity, technology and business around a clear idea,” said Anne Stagg, CEO of Digitas UK.

“The most exciting opportunities for creativity now sit upstream, where customer experience, brand, technology and business come together,” said Sandoz. “I’m looking forward to working with Anne and the team to help clients create experiences that are valuable for their customers and their businesses.”

Sandoz spent eight years at Deloitte Digital, becoming global chief creative officer in 2020 and leading creativity, brand and advertising across its customer-led transformation business. Previously he was executive creative director at Havas London, co-founded digital agency Work Club in 2007, which Havas acquired in 2014, and served as president of D&AD in 2016.

Digitas UK is part of Publicis Groupe, the Paris-listed communications group trading on Euronext Paris under the ticker PUB. Publicis reported net revenue of €14,547 million and headline net income of €1,896 million in its 2025 results.

For the sector, the appointment reflects agencies placing creative leadership across the full customer journey as clients seek connected brand, experience and data work.
