Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland has appointed Simon Snow as Head of Customer Service Operations, joining the business in a newly created role designed to strengthen and evolve the company's service delivery and customer operations function, according to Business Plus.

Snow brings more than 15 years of experience across strategy, operations and transformation in financial services, having held senior roles at AIB, Bank of Ireland and Scottish Widows across Ireland and the UK. His appointment follows a period of sustained focus by Aviva on building operational capability to meet evolving customer and broker expectations in the Irish market.

His background spans large-scale operations leadership, transformation programme delivery, service design, change management and third-party management, with a consistent emphasis on enhancing customer outcomes across complex, regulated financial services environments.

In the new role, Snow will oversee key customer service operations and take a leadership position in driving improvements across Aviva's operations and service delivery. The role has been created specifically to provide dedicated executive focus on customer service performance, reflecting the growing strategic importance of service excellence within the life and pensions sector.
