Accenture has appointed James Scott-Lennon to lead Accenture Song in Ireland, taking responsibility for the group's customer experience, creative and transformation business in the Irish market. Scott-Lennon, who has nearly 20 years of experience in customer and business transformation, has been a member of Accenture Song's Irish leadership team for more than three years.

Detailed in the appointment announcement, Scott-Lennon most recently led Accenture Song's Service practice in Ireland and joined Accenture in 2007, working extensively with utilities clients on customer experience, strategy and large-scale transformation programmes. Accenture Song in Ireland includes creative agency Droga5 Dublin alongside expertise from the wider Accenture business.

The structural driver behind the appointment is the pace at which artificial intelligence and shifting customer expectations are reshaping how organisations plan engagement, requiring customer experience, creative and technology capabilities to operate as one integrated practice rather than separate disciplines.

"James combines deep expertise in customer transformation with a strong track record of helping clients navigate change and drive growth," said Hilary O'Meara, country managing director of Accenture in Ireland. "He has a clear understanding of our clients' needs, and how to bring together the best of Accenture Song and our wider Accenture business to help them create lasting value."

"It's such an exciting time to lead Accenture Song in Ireland," said Scott-Lennon. "Customer expectations are changing at an ever-accelerating rate and organisations are rethinking what they need to do to meet those expectations."

Accenture plc is headquartered in Dublin and trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker ACN, reporting global revenue of $69.67 billion (approximately €58.5 billion) and net income of $7.83 billion (approximately €6.6 billion) for its most recent financial year.

For the sector, the appointment underscores how Ireland-based multinational consultancies are consolidating customer experience, creative and AI capabilities under senior regional leadership as clients look to a single practice to manage the shift toward AI-driven customer engagement.
